10 Years of Experience in Cedrus Industry

Cedrus is an independent private sector company established in 2015, working in the field of trade in all types of cigarettes, shisha tobacco and modified tobacco.

  Taking advantage of the investment law in the Kurdistan Region, and after obtaining license, we constructed a complete cigarette factory, a tobacco processing factory, shisha tobacco manufacturing factory, and a cardboard manufacturing factory, were established on an area of 132,000 square meters. We began with 4 production lines, and we started our production in 2019.

In 2021, the number of production lines was increased to 12 lines, and two lines were added for manufacture cigarette filters.

How to benefit our country?

  • A return to the cultivation and production of tobacco on local farms by local farmers and the local tobacco trade movement, which our ancestors benefited from for many years of agriculture and tobacco trade. After the Iran-Iraq war, this industry died and many people became unemployed.
  • Providing job opportunities in our factory for more than 300 people in the region (Piramagroon).
  • We will participate in depreciation of the amounts in the import of all tobacco products from outside.
  • Revitalizing and reviving the area, greening it and presenting it with a beautiful architectural appearance.
